We do not accept insurance. Instead, BellaireCare Direct Family Health provides care through a simple monthly membership that covers all your visits, communication, and personalized attention. This means no copays, no surprise bills, and no insurance hassles.

By removing insurance from the equation, we can focus entirely on you—not paperwork. You’ll know exactly what your membership includes, and you can still use insurance for labs, imaging, or specialist care outside our clinic.

Our goal is to keep care simple, transparent, and affordable, while giving you direct access to your physician whenever you need it.

Meet Dr. Eric S. Blacher — Physician, Veteran, Lifelong Learner, and Proud Dad

Dr. Eric S. Blacher, MD, MPH, doesn’t just practice medicine—he lives it with purpose, heart, and a healthy dose of humility. A board-certified Family Medicine physician and diplomate of the American Academy of Family Practice, Dr. Blacher blends science, compassion, and personal connection to deliver care that’s truly centered on you.

His treatment approach is never cookie-cutter. He designs personalized care plans that honor your physiology, your life story, and the everyday realities that make you, well… you. Whether it’s navigating chronic conditions, preventive care, or just being a steady voice in uncertain times, Dr. Blacher’s philosophy centers on treating the whole person with empathy, evidence, and kindness.

The son, grandson, and now third-generation physician, Dr. Blacher carries on a legacy of healing while carving his own path forward—one that embraces both cutting-edge research and the enduring power of listening. His office is a judgment-free zone, where shared decision-making isn’t a buzzword—it’s the bedrock of the care you’ll receive.

After years spent navigating the red tape and impersonal systems of corporate hospital medicine, Dr. Blacher made a bold move: he left the big box world behind to launch BellaireCare Direct, a truly patient-first direct primary care practice. Here, he’s returned to the roots of medicine—meaningful doctor-patient relationships, transparent pricing, and care that's guided by clinical wisdom rather than billing codes. It’s a model that aligns perfectly with his values: accessibility, authenticity, and the freedom to focus on what matters most—you.

But don’t be fooled by the white coat—there’s an Air Force flight suit hanging right next to it. As a proud veteran and current Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Air Force Reserve, Dr. Blacher serves as a Flight Surgeon and Field Grade Officer. His experience brings a deep understanding of the unique healthcare needs of military veterans, whom he serves with great pride and respect.

When he’s not caring for patients or serving his country, you’ll likely find Dr. Blacher enjoying time with his family. He’s a devoted husband and proud father of two amazing kids who never fail to keep him grounded, inspired, and laughing.

With a warm smile, a listening ear, and a sharp mind, Dr. Blacher brings humanity to healthcare—one patient, one family, one heartfelt encounter at a time.
